Super Sentai (Squadron) Strongest Battle Team Analysis Part 3: The Sun Vulcan Team and the Goggle-V Team
The Guardians of World Peace members have become the Exterminators of Galactic War and the Comboys (now the Commen) aren't happy about what their seniors are doing: Dismantling the Future Science Laboratory.
Last time, we witnessed the third and fourth Super Sentai (Squadron) Teams that were collaborated with the late Stan Lee's Marvel Comics of the United States of America: Battle Fever J and DenziMan/Electromagnetic Men.
Now, as we continue our analysis, let us focus on the fifth and sixth Super Sentai (Squadron) Teams: Taiyou Sentai San Barukan (Solar Squadron Sun Vulcan) from February 7, 1981 Saturday to January 30, 1982 Saturday and Dai Sentai Gouguru Faibu (Great Squadron Goggle Five or Goggle-V) from February 6, 1982 Saturday to January 29, 1983 Saturday.
By the way, Sun Vulcan was the last Super Sentai (Squadron) Series that collaborated with Marvel.
We're not gonna delay about this, so charge! (In other words, the teams where they belonged to.)
5) The Sun Vulcan Team
Air Force General Takyuki Hiba/Vul Eagle II is now 61 Years Old, Navy Admiral Kin'ya Samejima/Vul Shark is now 63 Years Old and Army General Asao Hyou/Vul Panther is now 60 Years Old. (The retirement age in the Japanese Armed Forces is 65 Years Old.)
These three senior officers went missing on Earth.
What the younger enlisted soldiers, sailors and pilots didn't notice is that they left the message to them, saying, "We are involving in such misunderstandings. So our soldiers, our sailors, our pilots, please forgive us, for we cannot settle this argument unless an arbitration is needed."
Unbeknownst to them, the former members of Guardians for World Peace went to planet Nemesis for some good-old fashioned civil war.
For those Command And Conquer Fans, you're gonna love this and disappoint at the same time.
Here is the list of teams where the Sun Vulcan Team belong:
Air Force General Takayuki Hiba/Vul Eagle II: Swordsman Team
Navy Admiral Kin'ya Samejima/Vul Shark: Land, Sea and Air Team
Army General Asao Hyou/Vul Panther: Big Eater Team

Round Of 32
General Hyou's Team was defeated by the Glided Team, leading to his disappearance and captured by Rita, who used her gem to imprison this poor old army general while General Hiba's Team defeated the Archer Team.
Boy! Is General Hiba's sword deflected his arrows being thrown at him and his comrades!
And Admiral Samejima's Team defeated Acrobat Team using Shark Jaws.
Round Of 16
General Hiba's Team defeated the Flying Team while Admiral Samejima's Team stood his ground unopposed...for now.
Quarterfinals
Admiral Samejima was with his Land, Sea and Air Teammates Hayate/GingaGreen/Green Galaxy Man of GingaMan/Galaxy Men and Dr. Kakeru Shishi/The Red Hot/Blazing Lion GaoRed/Red Roaring Ranger of GaoRanger/Roaring Rangers. They faced Yamato Kazakiri/Zyuoh Eagle/Eagle Beast King Ranger of Zyuohger/Beast King Rangers and Stinger/Sasori Orange/Orange Scorpion Ranger of KyuuRanger/KyuRanger/Nine Rangers/Sphere Rangers of the Oddball Team. He tried to use Shark Claws on the two 2010's Sentai (Squadron) Warriors, but Yamato and Stinger blocked his attack and as a result, Admiral Samejima's Team was defeated by the Oddball Team which leads to his disappearance and capture by Rita. The poor old admiral was likewise imprisoned in her gem.
Meanwhile, there was no opposition team that fought against General Hiba's Team.
Semifinals
General Hiba's Team was defeated by the Oddball Team, which leads to his disappearance and the poor old air force general was sent into the penitentiary: Rita's gem, of course!
The Guardians of World Peace were suffering because ZyuRanger's/Beast Rangers main villain Great Satan was revived after 26 years and then transformed into Ultimate Great Satan.
The Oddball Team had killed the Ultimate Great Satan by the Super Sentai Special Storm the second time around.
With her gem shattered into multiple pieces, Towa/RyuusoulGreen/RyusoulGreen/Green Dinosoul Ranger/Green Saur Soul Ranger and Banba or Bamba/RyuusoulBlack/RyusoulBlack/Black Dinosoul Ranger/Black Saur Soul Ranger appeared unbeknownst to both sides not only to rescue Kagura Izumi/TokkyuuGoGou/ToQ 5gou/Limited Express Ranger No. 5 of ToQger/Limited Express Rangers of the Oddball Team from Rita-Gaisorg's/Gaisoulg's hostage, but also they separated Gaisorg's/Gaisoulg's armor from Rita which leads to her arrest.
The Sun Vulcan Team were probably released from the clutches of evil.
It is interesting to note that on February 5, 2012 Sunday, Captain Marvelous/GoukaiRed/GokaiRed/Red Heroic Ranger did met Air Force General Takayuki Hiba/Vul Eagle II so that the Goukaigers/Gokaigers/Heroic Rangers defeated the Development Technical Officer Insarn.
Seven years later, Marvelous and General Hiba became rivals.
Captain Marvelous was on the Oddball Team while General Hiba was on the Swordsman Team.
I don't remember if those three had returned to Earth and resumed their military activities there.
6) The Goggle-V Team
Ken'ichi Akama/Goggle Red is now 59 Years Old, Kanpei Kuroda/Goggle Black is now 63 Years Old, Saburou Aoyama/Goggle Blue is now 57 Years Old, Futoshi Kijima/Goggle Yellow is now 64 Years Old and Miki Momozono/Goggle Pink is now 53 Years Old.
Mr. Akama is still climbing mountains until now.
Mr. Kuroda is still supervising the younger chess players despite that he is no longer the President of the Chess Federation.
Mr. Aoyama still coaches his younger ice hockey players of his team. How he missed his ice hockey player days!
Mr. Kijima no longer works at the zoology as a zookeeper, although he maintained his relationships with the senior and junior employees there.
And Mrs. Momozono still coached her younger gymnasts in her team.
They were the members of the late Dr. Hideki Hongou's Future Science Laboratory.
What the Computer Men and Woman or Commen (formerly the Computer Boys and Girl or Comboy) didn't is that they're gonna have an intense rivalry between the Goggle-V members, who went to planet Nemesis for some "gymnastics rivalry", as what Mr. Tatsuya Ueda said.
Other Commen members like Mr. Makoto Takenaka, Mr. Haruo Shimada, Mr. Daisuke Ooyama and Mrs. Akane Aikawa said that "instead of working with us, they neglected us and went to some unknown place.
And this is the betrayal to the Goggle-V, which was served since 1982."

Yes, he did used his Blue Ring or the Hula Hoop Weapon and Hockey Sticks, but not joining in this bloody tournament?
I guessed Mr. Aoyama was handed out a ticket in a trip to the planet Nemesis, but I think he rejected his offer.
Good thing Mr. Aoyama did stay on Earth to continue his commitments in coaching his younger ice hockey players there.

All teams sans Saburou were defeated here and I will explain it to you why.
Kanpei was with his Legendary Teammates Yuuma Oozora/Change Pegasus of ChangeMan/Change Men and Juri Nijou/OhYellow/Yellow Queen Ranger 2 of OhRanger/King Rangers fighting against Natsumi Shinohara/Yellow Racer of CarRanger/Car Rangers, Shou Tatsumi/GoGreen/FiveGreen/Green Three of GoGoFive/Five Five Five and Eiji Takaoka, the Dazzling Adventurer/BoukenSilver/Silver Adventure Ranger of Boukenger/Adventure Rangers of the Vehicle Team.
Unfortunately for Kanpei, Yuuma, Juri and two other members of the Legendary Team Momo Maruo/OhPink/Pink Queen Ranger 1 of OhRanger/King Rangers and Saya/GingaPink/Pink Galaxy Woman of GingaMan/Galaxy Men, they were defeated by the Vehicle Team.
So that means Ken'ichi, Kanpei, Futoshi and Miki were disappeared, taken away by Rita and were imprisoned in her gem.
The Goggle-V Team, sans Saburou, were suffering even further when Great Satan, the main villain of ZyuRanger/Beast Rangers 10 years later (in 1992), was revived by Rita in 2019 after 26 years of dormancy and transformed into Ultimate Great Satan to crush their opponent, the Oddball Team, who then fought back and defeated the Ultimate Great Satan and crushed Gaisorg's/Gaisoulg's armor which was separated from Rita with the help of Towa and Bamba.
The Goggle-V Team were probably released afterwards.
I can't remember if they returned to Earth and were reunited with their old friend Saburou.
We'll see what's gonna happen in 2021, the 45th Anniversary of the Super Sentai (Squadron) Series.
