The Team That Never Was In The Super Sentai (Squadron) Strongest Battle: The Yellow Warrior Team

Not all the Yellow Sentai (Squadron) Warriors were participating in this bloody tournament. Here are the others who didn't make it to the Super Sentai (Squadron) Strongest Battle.

If there's the Pink Warrior Team on one side and the Black Warrior Team on the other, why there was no Yellow Warrior Team? Throughout its history, there are 38 Yellow Sentai (Squadron) Warriors out of the currently 43 Super Sentai (Squadron) Series since 1975. 20 are males and 18 are females as of 2019. So, what are the other Super Sentai (Squadron) Series that have lacked the color yellow? Here is the list of the series that has no Yellow Sentai (Squadron) Warriors male and female alike.

1) Jakkaa Dengekitai (J.A.K.Q. Blitzkrieg/Lightning War Squad; 1977)
2) Batoru Fiibaa Jei (Battle Fever J; 1979-1980)
3) Dengeki Sentai ChenjiMan (Blitzkrieg/Lightning War Squadron ChangeMan/Change Men; 1985-1986)
4) Juuden Sentai Kyouryuujaa (Beast Electric/Beast Powered Squadron Kyouryuuger/Kyoryuger/Dinosaur Rangers; 2013-2014)
5) Kishiryuu Sentai Ryuusoujaa/Ryuusourujaa (Dinosaur Knight/Knightosaur Squadron Ryuusoulger/Ryusoulger/Dinosaur Soul Rangers/Dino Soul Rangers/Saur Soul Rangers; 2019-2020)

I can't understand why TOEI had removed the Yellow Sentai (Squadron) Warriors on the list mentioned above. Remember, yellow is a symbol of light. As we get into this special analysis, let's focus on the other Yellow Sentai (Squadron) Warriors that never make it to the bloody tournament. Who are they? Here they are:

1) Daita Ooiwa/KiRanger I/KiRenger I/Yellow Ranger I of GoRanger/GoRenger/Five Rangers (1975) Gender: Male
Baku Hatakeyama committed suicide on July 13, 1978, three months after J.A.K.Q. Lightning War Squad Vs. GoRanger/GoRenger/Five Rangers Movie was premiered on cinemas. His posthumous character Daita did appear on Super Sentai (Squadron) Strongest Battle Episode 2 called "The Secretive Armor Of Mystery" along with the other GoRangers/GoRengers/Five Rangers on the planet Nemesis (February 24, 2019 Sunday). It's been 41 years since Baku committed illegal harakiri (suicide). How I wished some senior citizen can voice Daita.

2) Jun Kiyama/DenziYellow/Yellow Electromagnetic Man of DenziMan/Electromagnetic Men (1980) Gender: Male
Neither the male Jun (not be confused with a female Jun Yabuki/Yellow Four II of BioMan/Bio Men of 1984), which was played by Eiichi Tsuyama, had participated the Super Sentai (Squadron) Strongest Battle on planet Nemesis. He may have stayed on Earth with the other DenziMen/Electromagnetic Men.

3) Sara Tokimura/Yellow Flash/Yellow Flash Woman of FlashMan/Flash Men (1986) Gender: Female
Even Youko Nakamura's character was excluded on the battle list. Perhaps she got stayed in her Yellow Star planet after she rejected an invitation to the planet Nemesis for an intense Sentai (Squadron) Civil War.

4) Dime Tribe Knight Boi or Boy/TigerRanger of ZyuRanger/Beast Rangers (1992) Gender: Male
Takumi Hashimoto's character was also excluded in the bloody tournament list. Would you still call this middle-aged knight of the saber-toothed tiger "boy" at age 42? He's a man already! And that Saber Tiger? That's no dinosaur! That's an extinct animal from 11,000 years ago!

5) Domon/TimeYellow/Yellow Time Ranger of TimeRanger/Time Rangers (2000) Gender: Male
Also excluding in the Strongest Battle list is Shuuhei Izumi's character from 3019 A.D.. He's a wrestler and he should've been in the Super Strong Team instead of doing nothing in his timeline. TOEI needs a wake up call!

6) Kouta Bitou/Hurricane Yellow/Yellow Hurricane Ranger of Hurricaneger/Hurricane Rangers (2002) Gender: Male
Alas! Kouhei Yamamoto's character was excluded in the Strongest Battle list, too! Poor Kouta! I would've seen him fighting in some random team against the Hurricanegers/Hurricane Rangers and the other Super Sentai (Squadron) Teams before and after Hurricaneger/Hurricane Rangers rather than staying in his dojo on Earth!

7) Ranru Itsuki/AbareYellow/Yellow Rampage Ranger of AbaRanger/Rampage Rangers (2003) Gender: Female
Not even Aiko Itou's character was included in the Strongest Battle list. She may have stayed on Earth with the other AbaRangers/Rampage Rangers. Worse thing: Mrs. Itou was retiring from the Japanese Entertainment Industry in 2010. How I wished Mrs. Itou should've return to TOEI for some loose ends or unfinished business. "You're not done yet, Ranru pura!", said Blastasaur Pteranodon.

8) Marika "Jasmine" Reimon-Hiwatari/DekaYellow/Yellow Detective Ranger of DekaRanger/Detective Rangers (2004) Gender: Female
Recently, Ayumi Kinoshita was pregnant and soon, either by late 2019 or early 2020, she's gonna have a third child. Congratulations, Mrs. Kinoshita for having a third baby! However, your character didn't appeared on the Super Sentai (Squadron) Strongest Battle! Why? How I've wished your character Jasmine should've fight on your own randomly team against the Oddball Team or any opposing teams so that if your team would've defeated, you character's son Taiga will cry because his mother Jasmine would've been inside Rita's gem for further torture and suffering. Instead, Doggie "Boss" Kruger/DekaMaster/Master Detective Ranger was there inside.

9) Kotoha Hanaori/ShinkenYellow/Yellow True Sword Ranger of Shinkenger/True Sword Rangers (2009) Gender: Female
Suzuka Morita's new character appeared on Kishiryuu Sentai Ryuusoujaa/Ryuusourujaa Za Muubii: Toki Suberu! Kyouryuu Awateru!! (Dinosaur Knight/Knightosaur Squadron Ryuusoulger/Ryusoulger/Dinosaur Saul Rangers/Dino Soul Rangers/Saur Soul Rangers The Movie: Time Slip! Dinosaur Panic!!!) last July of this year. Unfortunately, not only did Suzuka's character of the 2009 Super Sentai (Squadron) Series was excluded from the Strongest Battle list, but also the Samurai Sentai Shinkenjaa Juunengo (Samurai Squadron Shinkenger/True Sword Rangers Ten Years After) Movie was cancelled because all of the actors and actresses, including Suzuka, had either refused to reprised their roles, were too busy on other commitments or due to schedule conflicts. How rude, TOEI!

10) Moune/GoseiYellow/Yellow Guard Star Ranger of Goseiger/Guard Star Rangers (2010) Gender: Female
Also recently, Mikiho Niwa had announced that she was pregnant and she's gonna have her first baby by next year. Gotcha, Mama! Congratulations, Mrs. Niwa for having your own child at last! Unfortunately, your character was not in the Strongest Battle list for unknown reasons. This means that TOEI let Mikiho's character stay in Gosei/Guard Star World after she rejected an invitation for the bloody tournament in planet Nemesis. So this means both the Yellow Female Sentai (Squadron) Actresses Kinoshita and Niwa are both pregnant and are ready to deliver their separate babies of their own between late 2019 and early 2020. Enjoy your motherhood while you can, Mrs. Niwa!

11) Luka Millfy/GoukaiYellow/GokaiYellow/Yellow Heroic Ranger of Goukaiger/Gokaiger/Heroic Rangers (2011) Gender: Female
Although Mao Ichimichi's character was not among the Super Sentai (Squadron) Teams that were included in the Strongest Battle list, she was therefore kidnapped by Gaisorg/Gaisoulg somewhere in space and was taken to the space factory in planet Nemesis for a chain tied up with Takaharu Igasaki/AkaNinger/Red Ninja/Endurance Ranger of Ninninger/Ninja/Endurance Rangers of the Oddball Team later on. When she saw her fellow Goukaiger/Gokaiger/Heroic Ranger Captain Marvelous/GoukaiRed/GoukaiRed/Red Heroic Ranger, also of the Oddball Team, wearing Gaisorg's/Gaisoulg's helmet, the latter had inadvertently break the chains in order to set them free. To stop the chaotic incident, Luka summoned her Goukai/Gokai/Heroic Gun to separate the cursed helmet from him and she called Captain Marvelous an "imp" and a "nincompoop". Of course, he denied these accusations. While the Oddball Team faced Rita and the revived Great Satan of ZyuRanger/Beast Rangers outside of the space factory, Luka then found the barrier machine which blocked the communications from Earth and other planets and preventing mecha summoning. She tried to destroy it in her GoukaiYellow/GokaiYellow/Yellow Heroic Ranger form, but was knocked out and detransformed back to her normal form with blood on her body and face and her clothing was torn up. However, with her Goukai/Gokai/Heroic Saber on her hand, she finally destroyed the machine which led her fellow Goukaiger/Gokaiger/Heroic Ranger Captain Marvelous to summon Goukai/Gokai/Heroic Galleon to smash Ultimate Great Satan's head before the said gigantic floating head being was shattered into pieces the second time by the Oddball Team being aided by the Red Sentai (Squadron) Warriors' Spirits who were seeking for justice. Captain Marvelous had to chaperone Luka back to the Galleon for treating the wounds inside. Although Mao was reunited with Ryouta Ozawa, Masaki Nakao (Yamato Kazakiri/Zyuoh Eagle/Eagle Beast King Ranger) and Yousuke Kishi (Stinger/Sasori Orange/Orange Scorpion Ranger) for the said miniseries broadcast (Ozawa and Nakao were last seen together with Ichimichi in Zyuohger/Beast King Rangers Episode No. 29 "The Monarch Of All Monarchs", which was aired on September 11, 2016 Sunday while Ichimichi and Kishi were last seen in Space Squadron KyuuRanger/KyuRanger/Sphere Rangers/Nine Rangers Vs. Space Squad last year), this is the first time she worked with Ai Moritaka (Kagura Izumi) and Shunsuke Nishikawa (Takaharu Igasaki), although for a short period of time.

12) Mio Natsume/TokkyuuSanGou/ToQ 3gou/Limited Express Ranger No. 3 of Tokkyuuger/ToQger/Limited Express Rangers (2014) Gender: Female
Looks like Riria Kojima-Baba's character got more of her woes on her. How unlucky she was when she was excluded from the Strongest Battle list! Instead of Mio, we saw her fellow Tokkyuuger/ToQger/Limited Express Ranger Kagura Izumi/TokkyuuGoGou/ToQ 5gou/Limited Express Ranger No. 5 appearing at the battlefield scene instead. How pity for Mio! Better luck next time, Riria!

13) Nagi Matsuo/KiNinger/Yellow Ninja/Endurance Ranger of Ninninger/Ninja/Endurance Ranger (2015) Gender: Male
Another Yellow Sentai (Squadron) Warrior being excluded on the Strongest Battle list was Kaito/Kaitou Nakamura's character. How shameful it was for Kaito/Kaitou to have his character being excluded in going to the planet Nemesis. Instead, we saw Shunsuke Nishikawa's character Takaharu Igasaki/AkaNinger/Red Ninja/Endurance Ranger being visible on the television's miniseries. Poor Nagi! This is all TOEI's fault for not having him on the show!

14) Leo/Zyuoh Lion/Lion Beast King Ranger of Zyuohger/Beast King Rangers (2016) Gender: Male
Not even Shouhei Nanba's character had ever make it to the Strongest Battle list. Why? Because we saw Masaki Nakao's character Yamato Kazakiri/Zyuoh Eagle/Eagle Beast King Ranger on the said miniseries instead. How sad that Leo should've been in some random team fighting against Yamato, but that didn't happen. Oh, Leo! When will you roar?

15) Spada/Sperda/Kajiki Yellow/Yellow Marlin/Swordfish/Spearfish Ranger of KyuuRanger/KyuRanger/Sphere Rangers/Nine Rangers (2017) Gender: Male
How I wished I wanted to see Tetsuji Sakakibara's character in the Super Sentai (Squadron) Strongest Battle. Unfortunately, that didn't come to pass because instead, we saw Yousuke Kishi's character Stinger/Sasori Orange/Orange Scorpion Ranger in the planet Nemesis for some intense battle. Spada would've been in the Swordsman Team to fight against his fellow KyuuRanger/KyuRanger/Sphere Ranger/Nine Ranger Stinger, but that didn't happened! Sorry, Spada/Sperda! You're out...for now!

16) Umika Hayami/LupinYellow/Yellow Lupin Ranger of LupinRanger Vs. PatRanger/Lupin Rangers Vs. Pat Rangers (2018) Gender: Female
Lastly, Haruka Kudou's character was also excluded from the Strongest Battle list. Yes, this character was based on Fujiko Mine and she was so unlucky in the bloody miniseries that Haruka said that she was so disappointed for not having her character appeared on TV. Just imagine if Umika would've appeared in the Super Sentai (Squadron) Strongest Battle, she would've either join on some random team against the Super Sentai (Squadron) Teams before her or maybe she'll be like Luka Millfy being kidnapped by Gaisorg/Gaisoulg to a space factory in the planet Nemesis to tie up in chains there. Either that, that was not on the script and Umika was so unfortunate to be excluded in the Strongest Battle list. See you next fall, Haruka!

All in all, there are 8 Yellow Male Sentai (Squadron) Warriors and 8 Yellow Female Sentai (Squadron) Warriors that didn't participate in the Super Sentai (Squadron) Strongest Battle. Total: 16.
Just imagine if there should've been the Yellow Warrior Team, let's say, we'll picked on Sara Tokimura, Domon, Kotoha Hanaori and Moune. The final member of the five-member team to fill the vacancy would've been either Jun Kiyama, Prince Boi or Boy, Kouta Bitou, Ranru Itsuki, Marika "Jasmine" Reimon-Hiwatari, Mio Natsume, Nagi Matsuo, Leo, Spada/Sperda or Umika to complete the line-up, but not Luka Millfy. Unfortunately, this team formation is a total mess. So, it looked like TOEI had scrapped the Yellow Warrior Team at the last minute. Even though they didn't even participate the bloody tournament, they are still the victims of injustice and negligence on Earth and in space. Literally and Symbolically. How horrible! So, will they come back for the 45th Anniversary of the Super Sentai (Squadron) Series in 2021 to make up their lost time? We'll find out soon enough!
