Super Sentai (Squadron) Strongest Battle Team Analysis Part 9: The DaiRangers and the KakuRangers
The five or six stars don't shine in the heavens anymore because their Chi/Qi Powers were destabilized. And the ninjas are no longer hiding from the people or masses. Instead of slashing evil, they slashed the good and this leads to the downfall of the ninjas.

Last time, we analyze the teams the JetMen and the ZyuRangers/Beast Rangers belong to. So far, none were assigned to Gai Yuuki/Black Condor and all of the ZyuRangers/Beast Rangers to the opposing teams.
And now, we will continue our examinations of the teams.
This time, we will focused on the seventeenth and eighteenth Super Sentai (Squadron) Teams. They are: Gosei Sentai DaiRenjaa (Five-star Squadron DaiRanger/Great Rangers) from February 19, 1993 Friday to February 11, 1994 Friday and Ninja Sentai KakuRenjaa (Ninja Squadron KakuRanger/Hidden Rangers) from February 8, 1994 Friday to February 24, 1995 Friday.
It's the Chinese Martial Artist Warriors Vs. the first Ninja Sentai (Squadron) of the Heisei Era match-up!
This is going to be intense so this is going to be incomplete without analyzing the opposing teams where they belong, of course!
So, let's examine these rival teams, okay?

17) The DaiRangers
Ryou of the Heavenly Fire Star/RyuuRanger/RyuRanger/Dragon Ranger is now 49 Years Old, Daigo of the Heavenly Phantom Star/ShishiRanger/Lion Ranger is now 50 Years Old, Shouji of the Heavenly Gravity Star/TenmaRanger/Pegasus Ranger is now 46 Years Old, Kazu of the Heavenly Time Star/KirinRanger/QilinRanger/Giraffe Ranger is now 45 Years Old, Lin or Rin of the Heavenly Wind Star/HououRanger/HooRanger/Phoenix Ranger is now 44 Years Old and Kou of the Howling New Star/KibaRanger/Fang Ranger is now 35 Years Old.
They were the DaiRangers/Great Rangers who fought against the Gorma Tribe using their Chinese Martial Arts Techniques.
As they went to the planet called Nemesis, things get worse for them because the six stars are no longer shining in the heavens.
Instead, six flames of anger are shining in the hells.
This is nuts!
When it comes to their Chi/Qi Power, things get insane because once they fought against each other and the other Super Sentai (Squadron) Teams, there was a side effect of that power: destabilizing the inner Chi/Qi forces within their body.
So, what are the teams the DaiRangers/Great Rangers belong to?

So, here are the results of the civil war battle:
Round Of 32
Daigo's, Shouji's, Kazu's, Lin's or Rin's and Kou's Teams were defeated while Ryou's Team defeated the Black Warrior Team.
Take note that Shouji was with his Speed Teammate Ako Hayasaka/Blue Swallow of JetMan/Jet Men fighting against Gaku Hoshikawa/FiveRed/Red Five Man of FiveMan/Five Men and Sion TimeGreen/Green Time Ranger of TimeRanger/Time Rangers of the Brain Team.
So, Shouji's Team was defeated by the Brain Team.
Also, Kazu was with his Cool Teammate Ayase/TimeBlue/Blue Time Ranger of TimeRanger/Time Rangers fighting against Lou/Pink Flash/Pink Flash Woman of FlashMan/Flash Men and Ryouma/GingaRed/Red Galaxy Man of GingaMan/Galaxy Men of the Space Team.
It leads to a draw, so neither of them had won the said round.
As a result, all of the DaiRangers/Great Rangers except Ryou were disappeared, taken away by Rita and were imprisoned in her gem.
Round Of 16
Ryou's Team had stood its ground unopposed...for now.
Quarterfinals
Ryou and his teammate Takeru/Red Mask/Red Mask Man of Maskman/Mask Men of the Martial Artist Team had fought against Tsuruhime (Crane Princess)/NinjaWhite of KakuRanger/Hidden Rangers and U.A.O.H. Air Force Colonel Gorou Hoshino/OhRed/Red King Ranger Five of OhRanger/King Rangers of the Leader Team when Gaisorg/Gaisoulg (unbeknownst to them, it was Takaharu Igasaki/AkaNinger/Red Ninja/Endurance Ranger of Ninninger/Ninja/Endurance Ranger of the Oddball Team who was inside of this cursed armor) intervened.
As Ryou grabbed the gems from Tsuruhime and Col. Hoshino, not only did they disappeared by teleportation, but also he had won the tournament but at the cost of Takeru, who was disappeared in this round as well as their rivals Tsuruhime and Col. Hoshino.
Semifinals
Ryou was with his teammate Tatsuya Asami/TimeRed/Red Time Ranger of TimeRanger/Time Rangers of the Martial Artist Team fighting against Gouki/GingaBlue/Blue Galaxy Man of GingaMan/Galaxy Men and Soutarou Ushigome/GaoBlack/Black Roaring Ranger of GaoRanger/Roaring Rangers of the Super Strong Team when suddenly, Gaisorg/Gaisoulg had entered the scene.
They don't know that inside of this cursed armor is another member of the Oddball Team: Stinger/Sasori Orange/Orange Scorpion Ranger of KyuuRanger/KyuRanger/Nine Rangers/Sphere Rangers.
When Ryou and Soutarou disappeared, so were Gouki and Tatsuya, who were also sucked in her gem.
Nevetheless, Ryou's Team had won over the Super Strong Team.
Finals
This match would've been nice if the Oddball Team would've fight against Ryou's Martial Artist Team.
But since Rita had cancelled the Finals, her gem had made the DaiRangers/Great Rangers suffered even more when she revived the main villain of DaiRanger's/Great Rangers' predecessor ZyuRanger/Beast Rangers, Great Satan, who was ultimately transformed into Ultimate Great Satan to crush the Oddball Team "like a pulp".
The said team counterattacked with the summoning of the Goukai/Gokai/Heroic Galleon that smashed the floating head being and as they evacuated on time, they were aided by the Red Sentai (Squadron) Warriors' Spirits to kill the very huge villain into multiple pieces the second time around.
Rita, in her Gaisorg's/Gaisoulg's armor, blasted the Oddball Team and taken Kagura Izumi/TokkyuuGoGou/ToQ 5gou/Limited Express Ranger No. 5 hostage, but two Ryuusoulgers/Ryusoulgers/Dinosoul Rangers/Saur Soul Rangers Towa/RyuusoulGreen/RyusoulGreen/Green Dinosoul Ranger/Green Saur Soul Ranger and Bamba/RyuusoulBlack/RyusoulBlack/Black Dinosoul Ranger/Black Saur Soul Ranger had separated her from the armor and rescued Kagura from Rita's clutches and her gem was shattered as the other Super Sentai (Squadron) Teams, including the DaiRangers/Great Rangers, were allegedly released.
18) The KakuRangers
Sasuke/NinjaRed is now 51 Years Old, Tsuruhime (Crane Princess)/NinjaWhite is now 39 Years Old, Seikai/NinjaYellow is now 49 Years Old, Saizou/NinjaBlue is now 47 Years Old and Jiraiya/NinjaBlack is now 45 Years Old. They were having best friends along with the former pupil of the Three God Generals, NinjaMan.
But, what did the Three God Generals didn't know is that once they went to the planet called Nemesis, the KakuRangers/Hidden Rangers were ready for some ninja rivalry.

Lemurian Princess Lelina/BoukenYellow/Yellow Adventure Ranger of Boukenger/Adventure Rangers of the Super Strong Team.
As a result, all of the KakuRangers/Hidden Rangers were disappeared, taken away by Rita and were imprisoned in her gem.
Not even NinjaMan's transformation of SamuraiMan would helped destroyed the multi-layered gem walls and neither the Kakuremaru (Hidden Circle/Round) Katanas would break them.

Tsuruhime was with U.A.O.H. Air Force Colonel Gorou Hoshino/OhRed/Red King Ranger Five of OhRanger/King Rangers of the Leader Team fighting against Takeru/Red Mask/Red Mask Man of MaskMan/Mask Men and Ryou of the Heavenly Fire Star/RyuuRanger/RyuRanger/Dragon Ranger of DaiRanger/Great Rangers of the Martial Artist Team when, all of a sudden, Gaisorg/Gaisoulg intervened and joined the riot.
Unbeknownst to the opposing teams, inside of this cursed armor is none other than Takaharu Igasaki/AkaNinger/Red Ninja/Endurance Ranger of Ninninger/Ninja/Endurance Ranger of the Oddball Team.
While Ryou grabbed Tsuruhime's and Col. Hoshino's gems, his partner Takeru was vanished and so were Tsuruhime and Col. Hoshino.
In short, Tsuruhime's Team was defeated by the Martial Artist Team.
All of the six KakuRangers/Hidden Rangers were suffering further inside of Rita's gem when Great Satan was revived by her after 26 years.
He then transformed into Ultimate Great Satan who attacked the Oddball Team, who then fought back by summoning Goukai/Gokai/Heroic Galleon to wreck the huge villain's head before evacuating in time and the Red Sentai (Squadron) Warriors' Spirits had helped them to finish Ultimate Great Satan, who was shattered into multiple pieces the second time around.
When Kagura Izumi/TokkyuuGoGou/ToQ 5gou/Limited Express Ranger No. 5 of Tokkyuuger/ToQger/Limited Express Rangers of the Oddball Team was taken hostage by Rita in her Gaisorg's/Gaisoulg's armor, she and her Oddball teammates were blasted by the latter earlier on.
But two Ryuusoulgers/Ryusoulgers//Dinosoul Rangers/Saur Soul Rangers Towa and Bamba had rescued her and separate Gaisorg/Gaisoulg from Rita, which leads to her arrest by the Oddball team's member Stinger/Sasori Orange/Orange Scorpion Ranger.
The other Super Sentai (Squadron) Teams, including the KakuRangers/Hidden Rangers, were probably released following the shattering of Rita's gem.
Keiichi Wada (Ryou) and Satomi Hirose (Tsuruhime) were glad to be a part of the Super Sentai (Sqaudron) Strongest Battle, but were only in voice-dubbing techniques instead of physical appearances as what their Twitter accounts (@k1_wonder and @0927Satoku) stated.
Other actors like Ei Hamura (Shouji) and Teruaki Ogawa (Sasuke) (Twitter accounts: @shoji_tenma and @pinsclub) may have or may not have comment on this bloody tournament miniseries.
Just go check them out and you'll see what I mean.
The question is: Will the DaiRangers/Great Rangers and the KakuRangers/Hidden Rangers return in 2021 for the 45th Anniversary of the Super Sentai (Squadron) Series?
All we need now is to wait for that announcement from TOEI and TV Asahi.

While Ryou grabbed Tsuruhime's and Col. Hoshino's gems, his partner Takeru was vanished and so were Tsuruhime and Col. Hoshino.
In short, Tsuruhime's Team was defeated by the Martial Artist Team.
All of the six KakuRangers/Hidden Rangers were suffering further inside of Rita's gem when Great Satan was revived by her after 26 years.
He then transformed into Ultimate Great Satan who attacked the Oddball Team, who then fought back by summoning Goukai/Gokai/Heroic Galleon to wreck the huge villain's head before evacuating in time and the Red Sentai (Squadron) Warriors' Spirits had helped them to finish Ultimate Great Satan, who was shattered into multiple pieces the second time around.
When Kagura Izumi/TokkyuuGoGou/ToQ 5gou/Limited Express Ranger No. 5 of Tokkyuuger/ToQger/Limited Express Rangers of the Oddball Team was taken hostage by Rita in her Gaisorg's/Gaisoulg's armor, she and her Oddball teammates were blasted by the latter earlier on.
But two Ryuusoulgers/Ryusoulgers//Dinosoul Rangers/Saur Soul Rangers Towa and Bamba had rescued her and separate Gaisorg/Gaisoulg from Rita, which leads to her arrest by the Oddball team's member Stinger/Sasori Orange/Orange Scorpion Ranger.
The other Super Sentai (Squadron) Teams, including the KakuRangers/Hidden Rangers, were probably released following the shattering of Rita's gem.
Keiichi Wada (Ryou) and Satomi Hirose (Tsuruhime) were glad to be a part of the Super Sentai (Sqaudron) Strongest Battle, but were only in voice-dubbing techniques instead of physical appearances as what their Twitter accounts (@k1_wonder and @0927Satoku) stated.
Other actors like Ei Hamura (Shouji) and Teruaki Ogawa (Sasuke) (Twitter accounts: @shoji_tenma and @pinsclub) may have or may not have comment on this bloody tournament miniseries.
Just go check them out and you'll see what I mean.
The question is: Will the DaiRangers/Great Rangers and the KakuRangers/Hidden Rangers return in 2021 for the 45th Anniversary of the Super Sentai (Squadron) Series?
All we need now is to wait for that announcement from TOEI and TV Asahi.
And that concludes our Part 9 of our analysis of the DaiRangers/Great Rangers of 1993 and the KakuRangers/Hidden Rangers of 1994, the teams that they were involved in the Super Sentai (Squadron) Strongest Battle of 2019.
Next time, we'll go to the OhRangers/King Rangers, the U.A.O.H. Pilots and their ancestor fighting against the CarRangers/Car Rangers with no humor scenes this time since the fight is dark and edgy and not light and soft.
