Super Sentai (Squadron) Strongest Battle Team Analysis Part 7: The TurboRangers and the FiveMen
The former high school students who are now having their separate jobs as middle-aged people have started a rivalry which leads to a no speed devastating blow. And the inhabitants of the planet Sidon went to another planet for a very intense sibling rivalry which ruined the family values in the galaxy. How devastating!
Last we met, we analyzed the final two Super Sentai (Squadron) Teams of the Showa Era: the MaskMen and the LiveMen.
Now, before we begin, someone had read my previous article about the LiveMan's/Live Men's defeat in the Super Sentai (Squadron) Strongest Battle.
The anonymous person said that TOEI should've change the title Choujuu Sentai RaibuMan (Superbeast Squadron LiveMan/Live Men) to Juunai Sentai DesuMan (Beastless Squadron DeathMan/Death Men) because the scientists and the professors of nature were like "dead men" when they were defeated in the said bloody tournament.
We'll see if those LiveMen/Live Men will return in 2021 for the 45th Anniversary of the Super Sentai (Squadron) Series alive.
And now, as we continue analyzing the Super Sentai (Squadron) Teams, let us focus on the first two Super Sentai (Squadron) Series of the Heisei Era. They are: Kousoku Sentai TaaboRenjaa (High Speed Squadron TurboRanger/Turbo Rangers) from February 25, 1989 Saturday to February 23, 1990 Friday and Chikyuu Sentai FaibuMan (Earth Squadron FiveMan/Five Men) from March 2, 1990 Friday to February 8, 1991 Friday.
The former high school students of the Musashino Academy High School (now the Musashino University Compound as of this year 2019) of Earth and the Hoshikawa Siblings of the planet Sidon are now having an intense rivalry against each other and the other Super Sentai (Squadron) Teams to see who's mthe strongest Sentai (Squadron) Team ever.

13) The TurboRangers
Riki Honoo/Red Turbo/Red Turbo Ranger, Daichi Yamagata/Black Turbo/Black Turbo Ranger, Youhei Hama/Blue Turbo/Blue Turbo Ranger, Shunsuke Hino/Yellow Turbo/Yellow Turbo Ranger and Haruna Morikawa/Pink Turbo/Pink Turbo Ranger are all 48 Years Old.
They were the former high school students of the Murashino Academy High School (now the Murashino University Compound) who are now in their separate jobs.
Riki was once a race car driver of the 1990's before he became the racing announcer in the 2000's.
Daichi is now a coach of the track and field to teach the younger athletes how to run just like what he did when he was a high school student.
Youhei is now a coach of swimming to teach the younger swimmers to do their best, just like what he did when he was a teenager in the late 1980's.
Shunsuke is now a gymnast coach to the younger gymnasts, male and female alike, who sought for the championships in and out of Japan.
And Haruna is now an explorer, driving with her children and relatives in her van (she did changed the van models throughout all these 30 years, especially her driving license renewal!)
However, the middle-aged TurboRangers/Turbo Rangers who once have their friendly relationships 30 years ago will now go to a planet that they never been there before: Nemesis.
In short, they'll never make it to the Murashino High School Batch '89 Reunion on Earth and unbeknownst to Dr. Dazai and their former fairy Seelon, the former high school students will fight against each other like bullies.

Oh my! This is going to be a very intense rivalry between these former high school students and now, they have to do it in a very violent way! For the results of this intensive and bloody tournament, here they are:
Round Of 32
Riki's, Daichi's and Shunsuke's Teams were defeated while Youhei's Team defeated the Pink Warrior Team and Haruna's Team defeated the Speed Team.
Take note that Riki's Team was defeated by the Flying Team, Daichi's Team was defeated by the Martial Artist Team and Shunsuke's Team was defeated by the Swordsman Team.
Speaking of Shunsuke, he was with his Archer Teammate Megumi Misaki/Blue Dolphin of LiveMan/Live Men fighting against Doggie "Boss" Kruger/DekaMaster/Master Detective Ranger of DekaRanger/Detective Rangers and Takeru Shiba/ShinkenRed/Red True Sword Ranger of Shinkenger/True Sword Rangers of the Swordsman Team and they were defeated by the latter's team.
As a result, Riki, Daichi and Shunsuke were disappeared, taken away by Rita and were imprisoned in her gem.
Round Of 16
Youhei's and Haruna's Teams were eliminated here.
Even though they fought against each other, no winner was made on both of these teams.
So Youhei and Haruna had joined the gem imprisonment system.
The worst case scenario came when the TurboRangers were suffering even more when Rita revived Great Satan after 26 years. How did she revived the ZyuRanger's/Beast Rangers' main villain will be revealed in the next article about the JetMen and the ZyuRangers/Beast King Rangers.
This floating head being was transformed into Ultimate Great Satan and blasted the Oddball Team, who fought back by summoning the Goukai/Gokai/Heroic Galleon to ram his head and as they evacuated in time, the Red Sentai (Squadron) Warriors' Spirits have aided the Oddball Team in defeating the Ultimate Great Satan, who was shattered into pieces the second time around.
When Rita, in Gaisorg's/Gaisoulg's armor, blasted the Oddball Team and taking Kagura Izumi/ToQ 5gou/Limited Express Ranger No. 5 hostage, two Ryuusoulgers/Ryusoulgers/Dinosoul Rangers/Saur Soul Rangers Towa/RyuusoulGreen/RyusoulGreen/Green Dinosoul Ranger/Green Saur Soul Ranger and Bamba or Banba/RyuusoulBlack/RyusoulBlack/Black Dinosoul Ranger/Black Saur Soul Ranger had rescued the 2014 Sentai (Squadron) Heroine from the crutches of Rita, separate Gaisorg/Gaisoulg's armor from her and they left afterwards.
And what about Rita's gem before that?
It was destroyed into multiple pieces and all of the Super Sentai (Squadron) Teams, including the TurboRangers, were probably set free.
We'll see if the TurboRangers will return in 2021, the year in which the 45th Anniversary of the Super Sentai (Squadron) Series.
14) The FiveMen
Gaku Hoshikawa/FiveRed/Red Five Man is now 56 Years Old, Ken Hoshikawa/FiveBlue/Blue Five Man is now 54 Years Old, Kazumi Hoshikawa/FivePink/Pink Five Woman is now 52 Years Old and their youngest twin siblings Fumiya Hoshikawa/FiveBlack/Black Five Man and Remi Hoshikawa/FiveYellow/Yellow Five Woman are now 49 Years Old.
They were once the teachers of Newtown Elementary School on Earth.
Arthur G6/Earth Cannon, their mentor, is still there to support the now grownup Hoshikawa Siblings even after the Galactic Imperial Army Zone was defeated on February 8, 1991 Friday (the same day when the First Gulf War erupted in Iraq).
29 years later, they left the planet Sidon heading to another planet light years away: the planet Nemesis.
Upon arriving, the siblings and mentor rivalry has been commenced, not knowing that Rita was behind this brainwashing of these people and their robot mentor.
How gruesome they were!

It's not just a sibling and a mentor rivalry, but also a teacher and a mentor rivalry!

Ken's, Kazumi's and Arthur G6's Teams were defeated while Remi's Team defeated her twin brother Fumiya's Team and Gaku's Team defeated the Speed Team.
Take note that Gaku was with his Brain Teammate Sion/TimeGreen/Green Time Ranger of TimeRanger/Time Rangers fighting against Ako Hayasaka/Blue Swallow of JetMan/Jet Men and Shouji of the Heavenly Gravity Star/TenmaRanger/Pegasus Ranger of DaiRanger/Great Rangers of the Speed Team. Looks like Gaku and Sion had slowed Ako and Shouji's combined speed and gravity to a halt, which gave the former the winners of this round.
Perhaps Remi said to her twin brother Fumiya, "Sorry bro, but I'll crush you and the rest of the Sentai (Squadron) Teams here! All of you are not gonna make it alive!".
Fumiya answered, "You twin sister fool! I'll defeat you, your eldest brothers, your eldest sister and those opposing teams so that all of you will go to hell!"
Instead, Ken, Fumiya, Kazumi and Arthur G6 were disappeared, taken away by Rita and were trapped or imprisoned in her gem.
Round Of 16
Gaku's Team was eliminated and he was joined in the gem imprisonment system of Rita while Remi's Team stood her ground unopposed...for now.
Quarterfinals
Remi's Team defeated the Leader Team.
Semifinals
Remi's Team had done it again! Her Team defeated the Super Strong Team.
Finals
I wished I want to see the Oddball Team fighting against the Martial Artist Team here.
It would've been interesting only if Kagura Izumi/ToQ 5gou/Limited Express Ranger No. 5 fights against Mrs. Remi Hoshikawa.
But the problem is Remi may have disappeared, taken away by Rita and joined her siblings in her gem between Round Of 32 and Semifinals.
Hence, the cancellation of the Finals.
What do we see instead? The Hoshikawa Siblings and their mentor Arthur G6 had suffered further when Great Satan, the main villain of ZyuRanger/Beast Rangers, was revived by Rita and then transformed into Ultimate Great Satan.
The Oddball Team responded by summoning not Star Five, but Goukai/Gokai/Heroic Galleon to smash the head before they evacuated in time.
Later, the Red Sentai (Squadron) Warriors' Spirits had aided the Oddball Team to slay the Ultimate Great Satan, who was shattered into pieces by exploding the second time around.
Two Ryuusoulgers/Ryusoulgers/Saur Soul Rangers Towa and Bamba or Banba had rescued Kagura from the hostage taking of Rita in Gaisorg's/Gaisoulg's armor, which was separated by the 2019 Sentai (Squadron) Team and this leads to the arrest of Rita for violating multiple intergalactic laws.
Before that, her gem was shattered and the Super Sentai (Squadron) Teams, including the FiveMen, were allegedly released from the imprisonment that has suffered for a very long time.
Kenta Satou (Riki Honoo/Red Turbo/Red Turbo Ranger) and Kei Shindachiya (Ken Hoshikawa/FiveBlue/Blue Five Man) had made comments on their Twitter accounts (@kenta_sato1967 and @shinsan77) after watching the Super Sentai (Squadron) Strongest Battle Miniseries.
Both were apologizing for not reprising their roles because of schedule conflicts they faced.
Like for instance, Kei was busy having a Niya Niya Family Concert.
Speaking of Kenta, Kousoku Sentai TaaboRenjaa (High Speed Squadron TurboRanger/Turbo Rangers) was celebrating its 30th Anniversary and only Kenta Satou was present in the event.
Other actors like Fumiaki Ganaha, Keiya Asakura, Junichirou Katagiri and Yoshiko Iwaya a.k.a. Noriko Kinohara were virtually absent in the event.
This is bizarre!
They should've appear physically so that they have a conversation with Kenta and the audience.
I wonder if this anniversary affected the Super Sentai (Squadron) Strongest Battle.
It's up to Kenta who has the last say on that fateful event.
And as for Kei, perhaps he can reunite his actors and actresses of FiveMan/Five Men for the next year's event, in which the 1990 Super Sentai (Squadron) Series will celebrate its 30th Anniversary.
But will Kei's wish come true?

They should've appear physically so that they have a conversation with Kenta and the audience.
I wonder if this anniversary affected the Super Sentai (Squadron) Strongest Battle.
It's up to Kenta who has the last say on that fateful event.
And as for Kei, perhaps he can reunite his actors and actresses of FiveMan/Five Men for the next year's event, in which the 1990 Super Sentai (Squadron) Series will celebrate its 30th Anniversary.
But will Kei's wish come true?
