Super Sentai (Squadron) Strongest Battle Team Analysis Part 5: The ChangeMen and the FlashMen
There are some controversies over at the Earth Force where the Senior Officers had gone to a civil war on another planet. And those who lived in the Flash Stars, they also went to the same planet that they never traveled before, not for exploration but for an "Anti-Flash Extermination" which is too messy.
The last time we met, we analyzed the seventh and eighth Super Sentai (Squadron) Teams that are involved in the Super Sentai (Squadron) Strongest Battle: the DynaMen and the BioMen.
As we continue our analysis, let us focus on the ninth and tenth Super Sentai (Squadron) Series respectively that were popular in a South American Country called Brazil.
They are: Dengeki Sentai ChenjiMan (Blitzkrieg/Lightning War Squadron ChangeMan/Change Men) from February 2, 1985 Saturday to February 22, 1986 Saturday and Choushinsei FurasshuMan (Supernova FlashMan/Flash Men) from March 1, 1986 Saturday to February 21, 1987 Saturday.
So, it's the military Vs. the non-Earth humans who tried to see who's the best Sentai (Squadron) Team ever outside of Earth.
Let's get this over with, shall we?
9) The ChangeMen
It's been 34 years since Air Force Lieutenant General Hiryuu Tsurugi/Change Dragon, Army Lieutenant General Shou Hayate/Change Griffon/Change Griffin, Air Force Lieutenant General Yuuma Oozora/Change Pegasus, Navy Vice Admiral Sayaka Nagisa/Change Mermaid and Air Force Lieutenant General Mai Tsubasa/Change Phoenix of the Earth Force had made progress in their Armed Forces.
But when it comes to misunderstandings and controversies inside of the Earth Force, they decided that they'll go to a planet that they never heard of: Nemesis.
And so, the Senior Officers of the Earth Force had started their heated rivalry-a perfect place for a violent battlefield outside of Earth.
So, which of these teams do the ChangeMen belong? The answers are here:

Looks like Army Lt. Gen. Hayate and Navy VADM Sayaka Nagisa were excluded from the Super Sentai (Squadron) Strongest Battle list.
Why did TOEI choose only the Air Force of the Earth Force and not from the Army and the Navy?
I don't know if there are coastlines in the planet Nemesis, but these three other ChangeMen will surely have changes in their strategies and for worst this time!
"Okay, we can change!"
Boy, I loved that song that sang by the Japan Eco Singers, although its meaning will surely be in the opposite direction-to their doom!
And so, here are the results of this bloody tournament in which the Earth Force hated on this one:

Am I so surprised: All of them except Army Lt. Gen. Hayate and Navy VADM Nagisa were defeated here!
It looks like Air Force Lt. Gen. Oozora's Team was defeated by the Vehicle Team and, along with Air Force Lt. Gen. Tsurugi and Air Force Lt. Gen. Tsubasa who were also on the defeated teams list, were disappeared, taken away by Rita and sucked into their penitentiary: her gem.
Take note that Lt. Gen. Oozora was with his Legendary Teammates Kanpei Kuroda/Goggle Black of Goggle-V and Juri Nijou/OhYellow/Yellow Queen Ranger 2 of OhRanger/King Rangers fighting against Natsumi Shinohara/Yellow Racer of CarRanger/Car Rangers, Shou Tatsumi/GoGreen/FiveGreen/Green Three of GoGoFive/Five Five Five and Eiji Takaoka, the Dazzling Adventurer/BoukenSilver/Silver Adventure Ranger of Boukenger/Adventure Rangers of the Vehicle Team.
And the poor old Army General's Team was defeated!
The Senior Officers of the Earth Force were suffering even further when the main villain of ZyuRanger/Beast Rangers Great Satan was revived by Rita after 26 years and became Ultimate Great Satan.
The Oddball Team, their rivals, had attempted to free the rest of the Super Sentai (Squadron) Teams, including the ChangeMen, using their war techniques against the two villains. Captain Marvelous/GoukaiRed/GokaiRed/Red Heroic Ranger summoned Goukai/Gokai/Heroic Galleon after Luka Millfy/GoukaiYellow/GokaiYellow/Yellow Heroic Ranger wrecked the barrier device and then ramming unto Ultimate Great Satan which resulted in the Oddball Team's evacuation and then they were aided by the Red Sentai (Squadron) Warriors' Spirits to kill the Ultimate Great Satan into pieces the second time around.
When Rita-Gaisorg/Gaisoulg had blasted the Oddball Team and kidnapped Kagura Izumi/TokkyuuGoGou/ToQ 5gou/Limited Express Ranger No. 5, things get hopeless until two Ryuusoulgers/Ryusoulgers/Dinosoul Rangers/Saur Soul Rangers Towa/RyuusoulGreen/RyusoulGreen/Green Dinosoul Ranger/Green Saur Soul Ranger and Banba or Bamba/RyuusoulBlack/RyusoulBlack/Black Dinosoul Ranger/Black Saur Soul Ranger separate Gaisorg's/Gaisoulg's armor from Rita while her gem was shattered into pieces, probably releasing all of their Super Sentai (Squadron) Teams while saving Kagura at the same time.
This included the Senior Officers of the Earth Force or the ChangeMen.
Aren't those two other Senior Officers Army Lt. Gen. Hayate and Navy VADM Nagisa on Earth missed their comrades!
Let's see if they'll come back in 2021 for the 45th Anniversary of the Super Sentai (Squadron) Series.
10) The FlashMen
Jin/Red Flash/Red Flash Man is now 56 Years Old, Dai/Green Flash/Green Flash Man is now 55 Years Old, Bun/Blue Flash/Blue Flash Man is now 53 Years Old, Sara Tokimura/Yellow Flash/Yellow Flash Woman is now 53 Years Old and Lou/Pink Flash/Pink Flash Woman is now 53 Years Old.
These middle-aged FlashMen had missed their secondary home, the planet Earth.
And they never forgot their old reliable mentor, Mag.
But as their relationships sour 33 years later, they went to another planet which is light years away from them: the planet Nemesis.
So, when the bloody tournament had took place, it's not going to be an "Anti-Flash Phenomenon" as it was planned, but an elimination process called "Anti-Flash Extermination" created by this villainous girl: Rita.
So, let's have a look of the teams the FlashMen and their mentor belong to:

Dai and Sara Tokimura were the only FlashMen that were excluded in the Super Sentai (Squadron) Strongest Battle list.
Dai has knuckle powers and Sara had winter powers.
I still don't get it why they are not in the team list.
How I wished Dai and Sara Tokimura should've crashed the tournament, freeze the opposing teams using Snow Freeze and then finish their opponents' lives with Rolling Knuckles!
That would've been an interesting fight to be reckoned with, but it didn't happen! Without further ado, let's get the results of this bloody tournament:

All of them sans Dai and Sara were defeated in this round.
Take note that Bun's Team was defeated by the Brain Team and he, along with Jin, Lou and Mag, the other three FlashMen that were defeated as well, were disappeared, taken away by Rita and were imprisoned in her gem.

This has been ended up in a stalemate, even though both of these teams were defeated.
Their suffering continues when Rita revived Great Satan after 26 years and became Ultimate Great Satan in an attempt to wreck the FlashMen's opponents, the Oddball Team, who then fought back by summoning Goukai/Gokai/Heroic Galleon to smash the floating head being and he was killed the second time around, not by the Ultimate Daizyujin (Great Beast God), but by the Red Sentai (Squadron) Warriors' Spirits, who seek justice, aiding the Oddball Team.
Two Ryuusoulgers/Ryusoulgers/Dinosoul Rangers/Saur Soul Rangers Towa and Banba or Bamba had rescued Kagura Izumi/TokkyuuGoGou/ToQ 5gou/Limited Express Ranger No. 5 of Tokkyuuger/ToQger/Limited Express Rangers of the Oddball Team from the hostage taking of Rita in Gaisorg's/Gaisoulg's armor, which was separated from Rita and her gem was shattered into pieces.
As a result, the Super Sentai (Squadron) Teams were probably released, including 3 of the 5 FlashMen and their mentor.
Why 3 and their mentor you ask? See above for the answer.
Perhaps they went back to the Flash Stars because Dai and Sara had missed them so much.
Let's see if the FlashMen will return in the 45th Anniversary of the Super Sentai (Squadron) Series in 2021.
The Super Sentai (Squadron) Fans of Brazil were divided over what they watched.
Some say it's a tragic ending for the ChangeMen and the FlashMen.
Others pictured it as "Condenado (Condemned)" and "Imperdoavel (Unforgivable)" because the miniseries will definitely affect the Brazilians who loved the Super Sentai (Squadron) Series so much that when they see this, they felt emotional and blamed TOEI for turning the 1985 and 1986 Super Sentai (Squadron) Teams into Anti-heroes and Villains.
"How sad", says one Brazilian fan. Another said, "This is so painful. How we wished they'll return in 2021."
Don't worry, Brazil.
Wait for 2021 and we'll see what will happen whether the 45th Anniversary of the Super Sentai (Squadron) Series will continue to celebrate or not.
