Hero Mama: A Victim Of Injustice
It's so sad that the kids of today hate their parents rather than loving them. Hence, the family breakup. In this article, Houka Ozu was one of Rita's 155 victims of injustice and we'll tell you why.
Nine months.
Although Space Ninja Demost was defeated by the Hero Mama League comprising of Nanami Nono/Hurricane Blue/Blue Hurricane Ranger (mother of Kairi), Marika "Jasmine" Reimon/DekaYellow/Yellow Detective Ranger (mother of Taiga) and Houka Ozu/MagiPink/Pink Magic/Magical/Magician Ranger (mother of Fuuka), the transition between May 13, 2018 Sunday (Mother's Day) and February 17, 2019 Sunday was really a painful one for the Ozu Family.
Nearly all of its members excluding Miyuki Ozu/MagiMother/Mother Magic/Magical Ranger had gone to the planet Nemesis (Yes, that's the planet where ZyuRanger's/Beast Rangers' villain Bandora was accidentally released by two astronauts on February 21, 1992 Friday alongside her gang.) for a bloody tournament called the Super Sentai (Squadron) Strongest Battle.
So, how did Houka had gotten to that planet?
Some Super Sentai Fans say that she used her Magical Spell to transform into MagiFairy. Of course, she did fly because of her nature. Her daughter Fuuka didn't know about her mother's departure because she was worried.
When she and her family (sans Miyuki) arrived, she was on the Frivolous Team with Minoru Uesugi/Green Racer of CarRanger/Car Rangers, Hant Jou/Go-On Green/Green Go-On Ranger of Go-onger/Go-On Rangers, Genta Umemori/ShinkenGold/Gold True Sword Ranger of Shinkenger/True Sword Rangers and Beet J. Stag/Stag Buster of Go-Busters/Five Busters.
Her elder brother Makito Ozu/MagiGreen/Green Magic/Magical/Magician Ranger was on the Refreshing Team, her younger sister Urara Ozu/MagiBlue/Blue Magic/Magical/Magician Ranger, her second youngest brother Tsubasa Ozu/MagiYellow/Yellow Magic/Magical/Magician Ranger was on the Cool Team, her youngest brother Kai Ozu/MagiRed/Red Magic/Magical/Magician Ranger was on the Flying Team and her father (and Miyuki's husband) the Heavenly Saint Blagel Isamu Ozu/Wolzard Fire/Wolzard Fire Ranger was on the EX Warrior Team or Extra Warrior Team. Urara's husband the Heavenly Saint Sungel a.k.a. Hikaru/MagiShine/Shine Magic/Magical/Magician Ranger was on the Glided Team.
And then, the Ozu Family and Hikaru are starting to hate each other not knowing that Rita's gonna brainwashed them into thinking that they are the members of Infershia.
Houka thought that her elder brother Makito, her three younger siblings, her father and Hikaru were just villains and so the sibling rivalry begins at the Round of 32, where her Frivolous Team was among the teams being eliminated.
She, along with Minoru, Hant, Genta and Beet were disappeared and then sucked into Rita's gem for torturing inside. She then attempted to make spells on her MagiPhone but failed.
Also in the defeated teams list are her elder brother Makito's Refreshing Team being defeated by his youngest brother Kai's Flying Team, her younger sister Urara's Water Warrior Team, her younger brother Tsubasa's Cool Team and her father Isamu's EX Warrior Team or Extra Warrior Team. They, too, were sucked away by Rita and were trapped in her gem. Bad timing!
In the Round of 16, Kai's Flying Team was defeated by the Swordsman Team, for he too, was taken away by Rita and imprisoned in her gem.
In the Quarterfinals, Hikaru's Glided Team was defeated by the Super Strong Team and he was joined in a gem imprisonment system which was "so tormented and so hot that no one will ever get out because of the increase of the temperature".
The worst case scenario came when Rita revived ZyuRanger's/Beast Rangers' main villain Great Satan from her gem after 26 years and soon the latter had transformed into Ultimate Great Satan.
Japanese astronauts say that "the disturbance will surely destroy the satellites and orbiters close to that big headed being [Great Satan] and will have unstable balance of the galaxies in the cosmos". The MagiRangers were among the teams that they were suffering and cried out for one word: JUSTICE!!! How horrible!
One of the Pink Sentai Warriors, Kagura Izumi/ToQ 5gou/Limited Express Ranger No. 5 of TokyuugerToQger/Limited Express Rangers of the Oddball Team (Yes, Ayumi Beppu is older than Ai Moritaka in age although they didn't meet each other in person yet and not even one article in her blog did say that Ayumi had met Ai. How embarrassing!), didn't realized that her 31 rival teams were in danger until much later and so, Captain Marvelous/GoukaiRed/GokaiRed/Red Heroic Ranger, another member of the Oddball Team, had summoned the Goukai/Gokai/Heroic Galleon after Luka Millfy/GoukaiYellow/GokaiYellow/Yellow Heroic Ranger destroyed the barrier that blocked communications and mecha summoning despite her injuries.
So, Kagura, Captain Marvelous and three other members of the Oddball Team Takaharu Igasaki/AkaNinger/Red Ninja/Endurance Ranger of Ninninger/Ninja/Endurance Rangers, Yamato Kazakiri/Zyuoh Eagle/Eagle Beast King Ranger of Zyuohger/Beast King Rangers and Stinger/Sasori Orange/Orange Scorpion Ranger of KyuuRanger/KyuRanger/Nine Rangers/Sphere Rangers had aboard the Galleon and probably amazed to the interior designs (The interior designs of the Goukai/Gokai/Heroic Galleon set was way different in 2019 than in 2011 so don't expect rebuilding the older set because the materials for the set had been dismantled in 2012.). But time is of the essence because the four members of the Oddball Team, who knew nothing of the maritime navigation, had to navigate for the very first time in their lives and began to fire Ultimate Great Satan using Galleon Cannons and once the Galleon rammed the enemy's head using Galleon Ram, they evacuated in time so that Captain Marvelous had to summon some of the victims of injustice: The Red Sentai (Squadron) Warriors' Spirits. They aided the Oddball Team, who used their version of the GoRanger/GoRenger/Five Rangers Hurricane called the Super Sentai Special Storm to slay the Ultimate Great Satan into multiple pieces the second time around since February 12, 1993 Friday, the date where the final episode of Kyouryuu Sentai JuuRenjaa (Dinosaur Squadron ZyuRanger/Beast Rangers) aired.
Rita's 155 victims of injustice were allegedly released as her gem was shattered into multiple pieces and among her victims was Houka Ozu.
Boy! Was Rita disrespected the elderly and the parents of Super Sentai (Squadron) by using her fun of torture in her gem! She's more of a threat than the previous Super Sentai (Squadron) Villainesses of the past 43 years!
I wonder what will ZyuRanger's Lamie or TimeRanger's Lila say about this?
And stay out of this, Zonette of CarRanger! You're excluded from the talks!
I don't know if Houka returned to Earth and reunited with her daughter Fuuka.
How I wished the Ozu Family would've tried to mend broken hearts and settle their rivalry with arbitration.
But we'll have to wait until 2021 should the entire Super Sentai (Squadron) Teams from 1975 to 2020 will reappear in time for the 45th Anniversary. Should there'll be a rivalry again or maybe the deaths of the characters, I will protest to TOEI and TV Asahi for some not-so-nice projects that will affect entire Japanese Family who watched the Super Sentai (Squadron) Series for 44 years.
